Foreign travelers to Tibet (Kharta Valley) have the option to choose activities during their Tibet visa processing time in Kathmandu, allowing for short tours or treks in Nepal. Currently, the Chinese embassy requires five working days (Monday to Friday) for visa processing. During this period, travelers can select from a variety of short activities in Kathmandu or other parts of Nepal.
