Most nationalities can obtain a tourist visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or at land border entry points. Visas are available for 15, 30, or 90 days, with fees of USD 30, USD 50, and USD 125, respectively. Visas can be extended if needed. Ensure you have a valid passport, a recent passport-sized photo, and the necessary visa fee (paid in cash) when applying for a visa on arrival. For longer stays or specific requirements, it is advisable to obtain a visa from a Nepalese embassy or consulate before traveling.
