Begin your trek with a short drive (40 minutes) to Kande. From there, trek to Deurali (2,100m) via the Australian Camp (2,065 m). The trek covers approximately 6 km and takes 4-5 hours. The trail ascends through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages. Enjoy sweeping vistas of the Annapurna peaks and the iconic Machhapuchchhre (Fishtail Mountain). The day ends with an overnight stay at Pitam Deurali, where you'll ascend a total of 1,278 meters with a few short descents of around 100 meters along the way. Today’s trek to Forest Camp (2,600 m) is about 6 km and takes around 4-5 hours. The trail ascends through dense rhododendron forests, home to diverse wildlife and bird species. The trek from Forest Camp to Low Camp (3,035m) covers approximately 6 km and takes about 3-4 hours.
