Drive to Kande and trek through Australian Camp and Pitam Deurali to Landruk – Scenic Annapurna Journey

In the morning, drive from Pokhara to Kande (1,770 m), the starting point of your trek. The drive takes about 1.5 hours and covers 30 km. Begin your trek from Kande, heading towards Landruk (1,565 m) through Australian Camp (2,065 m) and Pitam Deurali (2,100 m).

The trek covers approximately 12.30 km and takes around 5-6 hours. You will ascend 570 meters and descend 660 meters during the trekking journey. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and traditional Gurung villages. Enjoy sweeping vistas of the Annapurna peaks and the iconic Machhapuchchhre (Fishtail Mountain). Arrived in Landruk in the late afternoon and check into a cozy local teahouse. Enjoy a traditional Nepali dinner and relax after your first day of trekking. 4. Day
Trekking Through Forest Trails from Landruk to Tadapani

After breakfast, start your trek from Landruk to Tadapani (2,630 m). The trek covers about 10 km and takes approximately 5-6 hours. You will ascend 1,350 meters and descend 300 meters during the trekking journey.

The trail winds through dense forests and offers occasional views of the Annapurna and Machapuchare peaks. Tadapani is known for its panoramic vistas and serene environment. Upon arrival, check into a teahouse and enjoy a well-deserved rest. The evening is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the breathtaking views. Muldai Hill offers panoramic views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machapuchare peaks. Descend through alpine meadows and forests to reach Chistibung, a small settlement with a few teahouses. The trail offers stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges as you walk through rugged terrain and alpine meadows. Khopra Danda is renowned for its expansive views and serene atmosphere. Relax at Khopra Danda or Take an Optional Hike to Khayer Lake (4,650 m)

The hike covers about 16 km and takes approximately 8-9 hours round trip, with an ascent of 1,060 meters and descent of 1,060 meters. The lake offers spectacular high-altitude scenery and tranquil views. In the evening, return to Khopra Danda to relax at your teahouse and contemplate the day's journey. Trek Through Traditional Villages: Khopra Danda to Swanta

After breakfast, start your trek from Khopra Danda to Swanta (2,240 m). The trek covers 9.5 km long and takes approximately 4-5 hours. You will ascend zero meters and descend 1,420 meters during the trekking journey. The trail meanders through terraced fields and charming villages, providing a different perspective of the region. Swanta is a peaceful village where you can experience traditional rural life. Immersive Trek from Swanta to the Ridge of Ghorepani

After breakfast, start your trek from Swanta to Ghorepani (2,874 m). The trek covers 5 km and takes approximately 3-4 hours. You will ascend 740 meters and descend 80 meters during the trekking journey. The route passes through Chitre (2,390 m) and continues through rhododendron forests and scenic landscapes. Ghorepani is a popular trekking hub with excellent views of the Annapurna range. Day 11: Experience Sunrise at Poon Hill (3,210 m) and Trek Down to Ulleri

Early in the morning, hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m) for a spectacular sunrise. The round trip from Ghorepani is about 3 km and takes 1-2 hours, with an ascent of 270 meters and descent of 270 meters.

After enjoying sunrise at Poon Hill back to lodge for the breakfast and keep continue ahead journey. After breakfast, start your trek from Ghorepani to Ulleri (1,960 m). The trek covers about 10 km and takes approximately 4-5 hours. You will ascend zero meters and descend 810 meters during the trekking journey. Ulleri is an enchanting village renowned for its panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountain peaks. Accommodation: Super View Point Guest House | Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

12. Day
Trek from Ulleri to Hile and Jeep Transfer to Pokhara – Conclude Your Khopra Danda Trek

Today marks the final leg of your Khopra Danda Trek. Begin with a trek from Ulleri to Hile Village, covering a distance of approximately 3 kilometers, which takes about 1-2 hours. You will ascend zero meters and descend 590 meters during the trekking journey. The trail descends gently through lush landscapes, offering stunning final views of the Annapurna range and the verdant surroundings.

Upon reaching Hile Village (1,430 m), transfer by jeep to Pokhara (822 m), a scenic drive of about 50 kilometers that takes around 2-3 hours. This drive offers a final opportunity to enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Nepal before arriving in Pokhara.

The Khopra Danda Trek, also known as the Khopra Ridge Trek or Khayer Lake Trek, is a moderate and less-traveled trail. Basic facilities are available from Tadapani to Swanta, with welcoming amenities along the rest of the route.
