Following breakfast at the lodge, we commenced our trek. During today’s trek from Ngadi to Jagat, we ascend 670 meters and descend 300 meters. The journey covers approximately 14 kilometers and takes 5-6 hours, bringing us to Jagat at an elevation of 1,300 meters.

The trek begins with a steady climb through terraced fields and verdant greenery. The trail follows the Marsyangdi River, offering picturesque views of the river valley and surrounding hills. As you hike, you’ll pass through several small villages where you can observe traditional rural life and interact with friendly locals. Your guide will suggest the sunrise time based on your travel date, so be prepared for an early wake-up. The trek stretches over roughly 10 kilometers and generally takes 4 to 5 hours to finish. The trail descends through terraced fields and traditional villages, including Ghandruk, known for its traditional architecture and stunning mountain views.

From Kimche (1,640 m), you’ll drive to Pokhara via Syauli Bazar (1,220 m) and Nayapul (1,070 m), covering approximately 53 kilometers in 2-3 hours. This challenging trek includes a high pass that may be affected by weather. If crossing the pass isn’t possible, your guide will provide alternate routes back to Besishahar. From there, you can travel to Pokhara if desired.

Services included

  • All transfers within Nepal are included as per itinerary
  • Any domestic flight of Nepal as per trekking itinerary
  • Trekking accommodation (hotel, lodge and/or tent) as per itinerary
  • Small shared room with shared bathroom during trek in Nepal
  • In Kathmandu and/or Pokhara: Stay at ***Hotel with breakfast
  • Luggage for porters during the trek (12.5 kg/person)
  • 17-Day trek: 3 meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) during the trek
  • Unlimited tea or coffee for breakfast during the trek

  • Travel insurance for trekking staff (guides and porters)

  • Single room/single tent surcharge (on request)
  • Round trip/one way international flight ticket to Nepal.
  • Tourist visa for Nepal (30-50 $, depending on length of stay)
  • Personal Insurance (covers: Trip/flight cancellation, helicopter rescue)
  • Meals (lunch, dinner) at hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara and other cities
  • Gratuity for trekking staff (recommended: 9€ /10$ per traveler per day)
  • Drinks (soft, hot or mineral/boiled water) during the lodge trek
  • Any personal trekking and/climbing equipment for trekking in Nepal
  • Hotel expenses in case of early return from trekking for any reason
  • Costs due to flight cancellations & extra porters/horses during the trek
  • Any additional service and KTM – Lukla helicopter shuttle flight cost
  • Additional costs incurred due to any reason beyond Jagdamba’s control
  • More evidence about pandemics like COVID-19 if needed in the future.
  • Personal expenses during the trek (phone, wifi, shower, charging etc.)
  • Other costs and things that are not mentioned in the service inclusion
