The path winds through lush greenery, offering glimpses of local life in the rural villages. The final stretch to Ulleri features a steep ascent of stone steps, an invigorating test to awaken your trekking muscles for the adventure ahead. Arriving in Ulleri, you’ll settle into a teahouse, enjoying the views of the Annapurna South and Hiunchuli peaks. You'll cover a distance of about 3 kilometers, which typically takes 3 to 4 hours of trekking. During the trek from Hile Village to Ulleri, you'll experience an elevation ascent of 550 meters and a descent of 10 meters. 4. Day
Rhododendron Wonderland – Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani

Today’s trek takes you through one of the most beautiful sections of the trail, as you descend from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,860 m). The trail weaves through thick rhododendron forests, which explode into vibrant hues during the springtime bloom.

The trail is well-marked and shaded, offering a pleasant trekking experience. Along the way, you’ll pass through small settlements and have opportunities to interact with local villagers. As you approach Ghorepani, the views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges become more prominent, creating a dramatic backdrop to your journey. Ghorepani is a popular stop for trekkers, with numerous teahouses and lodges providing a cozy place to rest. You'll cover a distance of about 8 kilometers, which typically takes 4 to 5 hours of trekking. During the trek from Ullri to Ghorepani, you'll experience an elevation ascent of 840 meters and a descent of 30 meters.Accommodation: The Sunny Hotel | Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

5. Day
Sunrise at Poon Hill (3,210m) and Descent to Tadapani – Stunning Himalayan Views

On this day, you’ll rise early for a hike to Poon Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Your guide will suggest the sunrise time based on your travel date, so be prepared for an early wake-up. The Poon Hill sunrise hike takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours for a 2.75 km round trip, with a 270-meter ascent and descent, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas at dawn.

Following breakfast at the lodge, we commenced our trek. During today’s trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani, we ascend 460 meters and descend 650 meters. The trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani covers approximately 8 kilometers and usually takes around 5 to 6 hours to finish.

The sunrise at Poon Hill is a highlight of the trek, offering stunning panoramic views as the first light of day illuminates the peaks. The descent to Tadapani follows a scenic trail through lush forests and terraced fields. Tadapani, a tranquil village surrounded by natural beauty, is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the serene environment. Accommodation: Fishtail View Top Lodge | Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

6. Day
Trek to Ghandruk – The Cultural Heart of the Annapurna Region

The day’s journey leads you down to the picturesque village of Ghandruk (1,940 m), one of the most significant Gurung communities in the Annapurna region. The trail winds through dense forests, offering occasional glimpses of the towering peaks above.

As you approach Ghandruk, the landscape opens up to terraced fields and traditional stone houses. Ghandruk is known for its rich cultural heritage, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore the village, visit the local museum, and interact with the friendly Gurung people. The village offers stunning views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchchre, making it a perfect spot for photography. You'll cover a distance of about 6 kilometers, which typically takes 3 to 4 hours of trekking. During the trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk, you'll experience an elevation ascent of zero meters and a descent of 660 meters. 7. Day
Crossing the Modi Khola – Trek through the Tranquil Villages of Landruk to Pitam Deurali

Leaving Ghandruk, the trail descends to the Modi Khola (1,400 m), a major river flowing from the Annapurna Sanctuary. Crossing a sturdy suspension bridge, you’ll begin your ascent to the village of Landruk (1,565 m). The trail is a mix of stone steps and gentle inclines, passing through terraced fields and scattered villages.

Landruk offers a more tranquil atmosphere compared to Ghandruk, with fewer trekkers and a slower pace of life. From Landruk, the trail continues uphill to Pitam Deurali (2,100 m), a small settlement with a few teahouses.

The trek today offers stunning views of the Annapurna range and lush valleys below. You'll cover a distance of about 11 kilometers, which typically takes 5 to 6 hours of trekking. During the trek from Ghandruk to Pitam Deurali, you'll experience an elevation ascent of 880 meters and a descent of 770 meters. Accommodation: New Laligurans Guest House | Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

8. Day
Descending to Kande – A Scenic Return to Pokhara

The last day of your trek takes you on a gentle descent to Kande (1,770 m), the final point of your Annapurna adventure. The trail winds through rhododendron and oak forests, with occasional views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

As you descend, you’ll pass through small villages and terraced fields, experiencing the peaceful rural life of the region. Upon reaching Kande, you’ll be picked up for a scenic drive back to Pokhara (822 m). The journey will take an hour to cover the 27.20 kilometers via the Sarangkot road.

The rest of the day is free to relax by the beautiful Phewa Lake, reflecting on your incredible journey. You'll cover a distance of about 6 kilometers, which typically takes 3 to 4 hours of trekking. During the trek from Pitam Deurali to Kande, you'll experience an elevation ascent of 100 meters and a descent of 490 meters. Accommodation: Hotel Middle Path & Spa | Meals: Enjoy daily breakfast.

9. Day
Comprehensive Exploration and Relaxation in Pokhara

After a rewarding trekking journey, today is dedicated to both relaxation and exploration in the charming city of Pokhara. Begin your day with a peaceful visit to Phewa Lake, where you can enjoy the stunning reflections of the Annapurna range on the tranquil waters. Opt for a leisurely boat ride on the lake to reach Tal Barahi Temple, situated on an island and offering a serene escape.

For expansive views, visit the World Peace Pagoda, a Buddhist stupa perched on a hilltop that provides panoramic vistas of Pokhara Valley and the majestic Himalayas, including the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Alternatively, take a short hike to Sarangkot for breathtaking sunrise or sunset views over the Himalayas and a sweeping perspective of the valley.
