Following breakfast at the lodge, we commenced our trek. During today’s trek from Ngadi to Jagat, we ascend 670 meters and descend 300 meters. The journey covers approximately 14 kilometers and takes 5-6 hours, bringing us to Jagat at an elevation of 1,300 meters.

The trek begins with a steady climb through terraced fields and verdant greenery. The trail follows the Marsyangdi River, offering picturesque views of the river valley and surrounding hills. As you hike, you’ll pass through several small villages where you can observe traditional rural life and interact with friendly locals. The descent is substantial, with a considerable drop in altitude. Along the way, you’ll revisit familiar paths through Machhapuchchhre Base Camp, Deurali, and Dovan, offering a new perspective on the terrain you previously climbed. Today’s trek takes you from Bamboo through Sinuwa and Chhomrong to Jhinu Danda (1,780 m), concluding with a relaxing retreat at natural hot springs. The trek covers around 11 kilometers and typically takes 5-6 hours. During the trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,780 m), you'll experience an elevation ascent of 470 meters and a descent of 1,050 meters.

The trail begins with a short ascent to Khuldighar, followed by a steep descent to the Chhomrong Khola. After crossing the river, the trail climbs again to reach the village of Chhomrong before a final steep descent to Jhinu Danda. The total elevation loss today is considerable, from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda.

Upon reaching Jhinu, you can relax in the natural hot springs located a short walk from the village. The warm, mineral-rich waters are a perfect way to soothe your muscles after days of trekking. Upon reaching Siwai, you’ll board a vehicle for the drive back to Pokhara, which takes about 2-3 hours, covering a distance of approximately 54 kilometers. Arriving in Pokhara (822 m), you’ll have the rest of the day to relax by the serene Phewa Lake or explore the city’s vibrant lakeside area. This is a perfect time to reflect on your trekking journey, enjoying the comfort and tranquility of Pokhara before returning to Kathmandu. Opt for a leisurely boat ride on the lake to reach Tal Barahi Temple, situated on an island and offering a serene escape.

This demanding trek, featuring one of Nepal’s highest passes, may face weather-related delays. If the pass cannot be crossed, your guide will provide an alternative route back to Pokhara, where you can continue your Annapurna Base Camp adventure.
